A German company develops a new process for producing foamed paper

A German company has developed a new process for the production of foam paper. The packaging materials produced by it can replace foam. The foam paper uses old books scrap paper and flour as raw materials. The recycled 1st newspaper is first cut into shreds, then ground into a fibrous pulp and mixed with flour in a 2:1 ratio. The pulp is injected into the extruder and pressed into cylindrical pellets. During the extrusion process, the raw material is affected by water vapor into a foam shape. With this kind of foam paper particles, a variety of shapes can be produced according to different needs. Foam paper can be molded once, without chemical additives, and can be recycled after use.
