II. Quality Requirements of Fine Aggregate in Permeable Asphalt Mixture

The fine aggregate in the mixture can use natural sand, machine-made sand and stone chips, and the appearance of fine aggregate should be clean, dry, non-weathering, and free from impurities, and there should be appropriate particle gradation. Fine aggregates should have good bonding with asphalt.

See Table 1 for specifications of natural sand for mixes. See Table 2 for the quality of fine aggregates. Stone chip specifications are shown in Table 3.
