Pentawards is the world's first and only design award specifically for product packaging. It is often compared to the Oscar Awards in the field of product packaging design. This prestigious award is aimed at everyone involved in the creation and marketing of packaging across the globe. Entries from around the world are judged by an international panel, and the winners are selected based on the quality of their submissions. Depending on the creative excellence of the work, participants can receive one of the Pentawards: bronze, silver, gold, platinum, or diamond.
The 2014 Pentawards ceremony took place at the Yamabuki Hall in the Imperial Palace Hotel in Tokyo. Among the many winners, the Danone Group was honored with the prestigious 2014 Best Performance Award, the Pentawards Diamond Award, for its Evian Water Pure Drop mini bottle design created by its French agent, Grand Angle.
