Japan Develops Environmentally Friendly Packaging Bags with Waste Paper

Fujita Corporation of Japan cooperated with Sanwa, a machine manufacturer, to successfully develop packaging bags made of polypropylene and waste paper mix. This newly developed packaging bag has been sold on the Japanese market.
It is reported that 20% of waste paper is mixed in the raw materials for the newly developed eco-friendly packaging bags. Waste paper that can be used for filling includes various high-grade papers, newsprint papers, magazine papers, scrap tickets, and the like. The collected waste paper is classified, cut, and melted and then added to the polypropylene raw material. The strength of the packaging bag made of this mixed raw material is basically the same as the packaging bag made of 100% polypropylene. Although this kind of packaging bag has a slightly higher manufacturing cost, due to its environmental protection type packaging material, it has broad prospects.
