The basic rules and visual effects of pre-printing

In the long-term production practice, we have summarized some rules for pre-printing color adjustment of printing inks. It is applicable to the printing and color-matching of aluminum foils in aluminum-plastic blister packaging, and it is also applicable to the printing of flexible packaging materials. Now we introduce to you:
First, the three primary colors of ink blue, yellow, magenta are the three primary colors of ink. The three primary colors cannot be mixed with other colorants. In theory, all three colors can be mixed in different proportions to recall all the colors.
Second, the basic rules of color matching According to the requirements of the color must often be mixed with several different colors of ink in order to obtain the desired color, this method is called color. It should be pointed out that different proportions of light tints can be obtained by adding different proportions of transparent diluting agent (dipping oil) to the original ink, but this is only a change in the color brightness, and the hue is fixed. However, when different proportions of white ink are added to the original ink, different degrees of saturation can be obtained, but the hue is still fixed.
The mixture of three primary colors of ink has the following basic rules:
1. Magenta + blue = purple (if the magenta component is more than blue, it becomes purple, otherwise it becomes blue and purple)
2. Magenta + yellow = red (if yellow is more than magenta, it becomes orange-red, otherwise it becomes red-red)
3. Blue+yellow=green (if the blue component is more yellow, it becomes dark green, otherwise it becomes grass green)
4. Magenta + yellow + blue = black (if magenta is more yellow than yellow, and yellow is more than blue, then it becomes dead leaf color; if yellow is more than blue, and blue is more than magenta, it becomes lemon; If blue is more yellow, yellow is more than magenta, it becomes olive)
It should be noted here that magenta+yellow+blue=black is a theoretical definition, which is very different from actual operation. In actual color mixing, magenta, yellow and blue are mixed by a certain proportion. It's just a dark gray, and it's quite different from real black.
Third, the visual effects of color I do not know in the actual work you have not noticed that when a gray sample is placed on a red background, the gray sample will be green, and it will be blue on the yellow background.
Here are the colors that complement each other:
Blue and red are complementary colors, blue-violet and yellow are complementary colors, and green and magenta are complementary colors. Complementary colors rarely contain each other's components and show the most striking contrast in visual effects. They can set off each other and make the color and purity greatly enhanced. The complementary colors can display a strong color difference. It can also meet the needs of the human eye for color balance. The contrast of complementary colors is vivid and complement each other. In fact, the colors we see all have different hue and brightness. Therefore, when looking at the second color, the hue often changes, and the brightness also changes.
E.g:
1. On a light background, darker colors strengthen and lighter colors are weakened.
2. On a dark background, light-colored abilities are enhanced and dark colors are weakened.
3. When complementary colors are paired together, they can all be enhanced and their colors become more vivid.
Fourth, pay attention: We should strive to use the least primary color modulation to be color matching, primary colors used more, will inevitably produce complementary gray, so that saturation decreases, especially for bright colors should pay attention.
We should also pay attention to the age of color matching workers should not be too large, the average person over 40 years of age, the eyes gradually become yellow crystals, color discrimination and color vision are affected. From the physiological point of view, it is most appropriate to consider the age of 20 to 30 years old. Of course, we should also consider that people have different color sensations after illness and fatigue. (Lianyungang Zhongjin Pharmaceutical Packaging Co., Ltd. Xue Feng)
