The third process is polishing, 12 samples are polished in 2 minutes, and the polished surface has a mirror surface roughness of Ra: 0.005 or more. No scratches are observed with the naked eye. When viewed under a darkroom microscope, the non-metallic inclusion cloth falls off and the edges are not. Hand grinding and polishing the inevitable corner collapse phenomenon. After cleaning, the sample can be removed for inspection. In this way, a group of 12 high-quality metallographic samples can be completed in only 6 minutes.
