3.70mm between plate cylinder and rubber cylinder
3.05mm between rubber cylinder and impression cylinder
Packing:
Plate cylinder (including printing plate and backing paper) 0.65mm
Rubber roller (including rubber, lining and paper) 3.25mm
With these technical parameters, we can use a simple formula to calculate the theoretical pressure:
The calculation formula of theoretical pressure: the sum of lining-gap = pressure
Calculation:
First calculate the pressure between the impression cylinder and the rubber cylinder;
Substitute data: 3.25-3.05 = 0.20 (mm)
Secondly, calculate the pressure between the plate cylinder and the rubber cylinder;
Substitute data: 3.25 + 0.65-3.70 = 0.20 (mm)
Without printing, the pressure between the three cylinders is 0.20mm. However, during normal printing, a normal printing paper (standard printing paper) with a thickness of 0.10mm should be added between the impression cylinder and the blanket cylinder, then the printing pressure between the impression cylinder and the blanket cylinder is 0.30 mm.
