Using the felt-tip Dyne test pen is a very simple and relatively economical method that can verify whether the printing material meets the printing requirements. General requirements for the dyne level of materials:

Printing: printing with solvent-based ink, 38-42dyne / cm is required;
Printing with water-based ink, 46-48dyne / cm is required;
Coating: Depending on the type of coating, the dyne level is between 44-54dyne / cm;
Compound: solvent-based adhesive 46-48dyne / cm;
Water-based adhesive 54-56dyne / cm.

The most common test range for Dyne pens is 32-56 dyne / cm. In addition, there are bottled test inks, and the brushes themselves are configured to make the entire test very convenient. Another option is the red dyne pen, which can be marked on the material to determine whether the dyne level is higher or lower than 38 dyne.
