Unlike traditional optical logic, the implementation of optical guidance logic depends on the optical switch network, each switch unit is relatively independent, and its state change does not depend on other units; moreover, the calculation result of the upper-level unit is transmitted to the lower-level unit through the speed of light The delay of information transmission is almost negligible. The loop formed by the optical guide logic device can complete all logic operations in an instant, so the calculation speed is greatly accelerated. Compared with traditional optical logic devices, optical guided logic devices do not require the use of optical nonlinear effects, and therefore do not require strong light. It is easy to realize the cascading of devices to form complex logic circuits.
