3. Use identification


The use of identification is an important part of the inspection of dangerous goods packaging. The quarantine and inspection department shall appraise the use of packaging containers that have been inspected for performance and have contained dangerous goods for export.


(1) The use of identification should meet the following technical requirements:


A. The application form, the factory inspection pass, and the performance test result are clearly consistent and consistent with the actual object.


B. The packaging container used should be compatible with the dangerous goods contained.


C. The packaging category of the container shall be higher than or equal to the packaging category required by the rules for the carriage of dangerous goods by sea, air and rail.


D. Marks and shipping (production) lot numbers printed or printed on the package should be firm and clear.


E. General liquids Dangerous goods are filled up to 98% of the total packaging volume, and solid dangerous goods are packed to more than 95% of the total packaging volume.


F. For the first time using a plastic container with an inner (coating) layer container, a report of a qualified chemical compatibility test for more than 6 months must be provided.


G. When liquids are used to protect dangerous goods, the type, size and filling volume of the liquid shall comply with the regulations. When using inert gas to protect dangerous goods, the quality of the inert gas and the amount of filling should comply with the regulations.


H. Magnetic field strength test reports must be submitted for airborne magnetic objects or possibly magnetic materials, which must be shielded when their magnetic field strength is greater than 0.418 A/m.


I. Dangerous goods shall not be spilled between the inner and outer packagings.


J. Adsorptive materials, shockproof materials and gasket materials shall not react chemically with the dangerous goods contained therein.


K. Dangerous goods shall not leak from the seal when securely sealed. When using the liquid sealing port, place the package horizontally (the seal is placed at the lowest position) and the liquid must not leak from the seal.


(2) The identification methods for bags, boxes and barrels are to be in accordance with SN 0449.3-95 "Appraisal of the Use of Shipping Dangerous Goods Packaging Inspection Regulations" and SN/T 0372-95 "Approval for the Inspection of Air Transportable Dangerous Goods Packaging Inspection Regulations" get on.


(3) The identification of the use of calcium carbide steel drums shall be carried out in accordance with SN0182.1 "Identification Regulations for the Use of Shipping Steel Casks for Shipping Exports".
