For the convenience of our readers, the library provides a locker system that can be used free of charge by individuals presenting valid borrowing documents such as a campus card or library card. These lockers are intended for temporary use only, and we kindly ask all users to follow the guidelines below to ensure fairness, safety, and proper usage for everyone.
1. The electronic lockers are public facilities designed for short-term storage. Please avoid keeping valuable items such as cash, mobile phones, MP3 players, USB drives, jewelry, or other high-value belongings inside. The library will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that may occur.
2. Lockers must not be used to store hazardous materials, flammable or explosive substances, perishable food, liquids, or alarm clocks. Violators may have their access revoked, and no refunds will be issued for any fees paid. If improper use leads to any negative consequences, the user will be held legally accountable.
3. Lockers are available for use during the library’s operating hours on the same day. You may use them multiple times throughout the day, but each session is limited to a maximum of 4 hours. Prolonged use that disrupts others’ access will result in additional charges for illegal use. Lockers left unattended for more than three days (excluding the third day) will be cleared, and the library will not be responsible for any items left behind.
4. During non-operational hours, the property management team may periodically clean out lockers that have been occupied illegally or for extended periods. Any items found in violation of the rules will be removed without notice. If you need to retrieve your belongings, please visit the security office the next day and register with the staff to claim your items.
